A wedding quilt for Prince William and Kate Middleton made by the people of Blackpool was completed on time and is now with the happy couple.
The project continues to grow and change on a daily basis, we now have over one hundred signatures and a lovely range of stitched images of the town, both old and new. everyone involved is great and as well as the sewing has great tales to tell of Blackpool and how they came to be there. Maude told me she was sand grown a phrase I had not heard before.
