The latest collaborative signature project was showcased at Touchstones Gallery in Rochdale early this year. Over 300 signatures are included on the cloth and at least 18 nationalities are represented.

This project explores Rochdale through the signatures of its current citizens. It evolved following the discovery of a 1895 signature quilt in the Rochdale archives. Alison Slater investigated the origins of the historic quilt whilst Alison Cooper helped coordinate the venues, groups and organisations involved. It has been a privilege to meet and work with so many people and seeing the huge range of signatures on the finished cloth is fascinating .
